​ AKOGNON GUNS FOR VICTORY AGAINST SPAIN


ON AUGUST 11, 2016 After losing two games at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games basketball contest, D’Tiger’s player Josh Akognon believes the Nigeria team can breath life into their campaign

by beating Spain and hosts Brazil in their next two match. D’ Tigers capitulated in the last quarter of their game against Lithuania losing 80-89 points in Tuesday night’s game. This was after they were humbled by Argentina 94-66 points in their opening match. Nigeria need to win their last three matches against Spain Brazil and Croatia to stand any chance of advancing in the Games.
